More photo booth fun with Shane and Lyns

I Love PHOTO BOOTH.  I have not laughed this hard in such a long time.  The photo images are hilarious- I wish I could post them all.  I'm sure there will be more in the future!

Shane finally got his BOY!!!!

You know what they say about guys with big bad A trucks?  They're compensating and Shane isn't afraid to admit it!!! That's right, after 10 years of always driving the beater in the family, Shane bucked up and finally bought his dream truck.  This thing is Big and Bad- just like it's driver.  My head is the same height as the top of the hood.  I won't be climbing in and out of the bed since I need a ladder to get into it.   The girls think it's pretty awesome.  I'm not sure what time he came to bed the first night he brought it home.  In fact, did he ever make it to bed that night?  Probably just slept with his new found love.  He's worked hard and he deserves this more than anyone so I'm proud of him.  Better pictures to come.  It rained and snowed today so the truck was wet and dirty when I took these.  Let the good times roll!!!

This ones for you Les! luv ya!

2/29/08 entry

This blogging stuff has actually been fun and can become contagious.  I start looking at everyones blogs and next thing I know the time has flown by, I forget to pick kids up from school , Lexi is changing Libby's poopy diaper, the waters boiled over on the stove and on and on and on.
Today is short day for the kids and they're home at 1:30.  They both had a good day at school and came home and immediately wanted to play with friends.  There's nothing better than spending an afternoon with friends.
I spent an hour outside raking up the leaf piles that I made last fall but never put into garbage sacks because of the early snow fall or probably just pure laziness.  Just didn't get around to it.  I was glad that the piles were all still together and it made todays job much easier.   Lexi isn't feeling great.  She has a little cold and a squeaky little voice.  She still seems to smile though.Libby is a crack up.  She's finally trying to walk all over the place.  I've tried to do the video but haven't figured it out yet.  Soon-
Shane and I are going out tonight.  I love having babysitters!  And funny enough- so do the kids, so it works out great!  Not sure what we're doing but anything sounds great to me.  Till next time!

Funny faces

Lex and Libby and I were having fun with the photo booth on our computer.  Libby thought we were pretty silly!!!

Forgot this one

Lexi wanted me to put the picture of her holding the alligator on here.  I was suprised that she held it, but then again it is Lexi, Miss "I can and will do anything!".  She was so brave!

First attempt

Okay, so I've been talking about doing this for a while now and now that I have my new computer, I have no excuses. Bear with me as I get the pictures and pages together, but I think this will be fun.
The first three pictures are from mine, Lexi and Libby's grand adventure to Florida.  And let me emphasize adventure.  Thank goodness Grandma and Grandpa were there on the airplanes to help out.  I think I would have gone crazy or maybe those sitting by me would have gone crazy if I had been alone.  We had a great time visiting Katie, Ben, Jenna, and Dani.  What cute little girls they are.  We went shopping, played at the beach, went on an airboat ride in the Everglades and saw alligators, Lexi held a baby alligator,  went on a boat ride in the ocean and saw 2 dolphins, and swam and ate good food too.  It was a great trip!
The bottom picture is from the first part of January when Shelby was baptized.  What a special day that was for her.  She looked so pretty in white and it's okay that dad had to do it twice, right Shelb?  We're proud of her and can't believe how fast she is growing up.
